I've had pain in my left breast for 2 days now, but no redness anywhere. DS is down to nursing only twice a day, morning and bedtime, and each time I offer the left breast first and massage while he's sucking. I've had blocked ducts before, but this time I don't know if it's a blocked duct way inside my breast so there's no redness, or if I got it unblocked before the redness appeared but it's still a little inflamed and sore. Anyone have opinions or ideas for me?

I have had a few blocked and I never had any redness but could tell it was blocked. I did all the massage and hot shower etc. and it did unblock but for me it was tender for a few days after. So maybe you did get it before it got really bad but your still sensitive? I think once mine was sore for about 3 days after I knew it had released. Just keep an eye on it.

Thanks Carol, it's MUCH better today. Wouldn't you know as soon as I ask the question it clears up and leaves me feeling like an idiot! :
