i just came across a warning on the dr. sears site that a study in australia has concluded that the use of gentian violet is linked to mouth cancer...now i'm very skeptical to use it but dying of thrush...and so is haye.

so what do we do?
grapefruit seed extract? he's only 6 weeks old.
what do we do?

he was on nystatin liquid medicine and i have the cream but it is stubborn and keeps coming back.

I think the amount of gentian violet and the length of time you'd have to use it to worry about cancer are so extreme that it is a risk not worth worrying about. Kinda like - if you drank 600 diet sodas with saccharine a day, you might have to worry about bladder cancer.

The only things that worked on my ductal yeast were gentian violet and about 4 weeks of Diflucan. If I got yeast again, I would do GV again in a heartbeat. (And I eat organic, don't vax, etc. and so forth).

well we returned it anyways and got the gse.
