Hooray for me! (and for all of you, and places like Mothering.com, as sources of encouragement for me).

I want to announce that my dd turned one on Sunday, and we're still nursing - so, that makes me an extended breastfeeder, right?

I'm so proud of myself!!

You betcha you are an EBF'er now! It takes a lot of hard work to breastfeed past one year. Happy birthday to your dd and happy birth day to you!

Congratulations!! I still can't imagine life without nursing. It's still central to our day.

My ds will be 18 months next week - where does the time go??

I used to say "I hope he nurses until he's at least 2." That's still what I want but he's such a dedicated nurser, I KNOW that will be the case.
