My 21 month old has been sick these past 3 days... yakking it up like you wouldn't believe that first day... so we cut out all solids and went strictly to a BM diet. Heck it was the only thing she would keep down (and who said EBF had no nutritional value?? hee hee). Plus it was quite comforting for her to nurse (other than the million baths she wanted to take!). Now, I'm not a doctor, but I personally think if she still was not nursing, we'd probably have ended up in the hospital for dehydration... she wouldn't even keep down the pedialyte DH bought for her. So YAH for EBF!!!

Anyways, just a question. Since she has been strictly BF these last few days, is it normal for her bowel movements to return to those newborn- yellow seedy mustard looking poops? I am unsure because she has a touch of diarrhea as well and it's been so long since I've seen newborn poop, I don't remember as well!

Yes, we went through this back when DS was about 18 months old.
