dd has gone from odd sucks every night/morning to not breastfeeding at all. It's been about a week now. I'm happy that this phase of life is over, and am hoping it will be followed by her being dry at night too. She still sleeps next to me so I don't miss the closeness, it's actually quite a relief. And yet - my actual breasts feel so strange, achey and tender. Is this the milk? To be honest i haven't felt the presence of milk for at least a year, although dd assured me it was there. How long will it take for it to go? Is this a massive hormonal change? i feel all...weird :

I nursed until 5.8 and had no problems with her weaning so I can't help you there, but I would think it would fade shortly.

As far as wetting the bed my dd is now 6.5 years old and still wets at night

I wouldn't be surprised if it is related to hormones. Good luck with the dry bed
