anyone know if you can feed baby milk that has gone thru an airport xray machine, or should it be dumped??

my friend is travelling (just one day) for business on wednesday and will need to pump while she's here. she's wondering if she should bother bringing the milk home with her or if it'll be wrecked by the xray machine.

good question, dontcha think???

you can send biological samples though the gate xray, just not the big luggage xrays...I would just ask them to hand inspect it if you're worried. They will if you ask.

Some people would be unwilling, but modern dental x-rays are very targeted, without a lot of "overflow" to other parts. Plus you wear the lead apron. I personally think it's fine...you could always pump and dump right after the appt. but get your dental work whether you get xrays or not. My gum disease got much worse in pregnancy and nursing.
