mamas, I'm feeling very tired, achy, spacy and my breast feels bruised deep inside but it is not swollen at all. I've had 4 rounds of mastitis in the last 7 months and have NOT treated them with antibiotics but with homepathy, vit c and echinacea. But I am feeling concerned now as whatever is going on never seems to go away fully. I have a small lump in the breast (probably a plugged duct) and have been doing all the recommended things to help move this through, but its been a week and the spacy feeling isn't going away. My dentist said that I might have an infection in a tooth and I am wondering if there is a connection here. Anybody have thoughts, suggests, help? I've got an appointment with a CNM on Monday to check it out.

Why I CNM, I wonder? why not a IBCLC?

Some moms that are prone to recurrent breast infections get better by taking lecithin daily.

HTH. good luck!
