How long can breast milk remain in the freezer?
How long can you keep frozen breast milk?
Is the nutrional value altered once breast milk is frozen?
Thanks!

The nutritional value is changed slightly, but it is still MUCH, MUCH better than formula.

In a regular freezer (attached to your fridge with a separate door), you can freeze bm for three months.

If you have just a small freezer compartment (with no separate door), you can freeze bm for only two weeks.

If you have a deep freezer (like a chest freezer--gets much colder, and doesn't get opened as often), then you can freeze it up to six months.

After you defrost frozen bm, use it within 24 hours.
