My 12 month old used to LOVE to nurse. She loved it so much she was pretty much refusing solids foods. She still is for the most part. About 2 weeks ago she got sick and its been hanging on for EVER.
NOW, when (at least 2 times today) I go to nurse her she SCREAMS and gets off my lap.
Ever since she got sooo sick she just hasn't nursed like she used too. So I was wondering if maybe she is done? What are true signs of weaning??

Thanks
Chandi

Very distractable age. By 15 months she'll be nursing quite a bit again. Try going into a quiet dark room to nurse for the time being or getting her when she is very sleepy.

Maybe she has an ear infection/inflammation, since she was ill? Have her checked.

(if you don't want to do antibiotics, should she have an infection, you could do what I do, garlic/mullein oil drops in the ears, Motrin for pain.)
