I pump once a week, and go to work once a week, but lately, every time I get the milk out of the fridge (7 days old) it is spoiled! Am I missing something here? I thought it could go longer than that. ( I was working twice a week and am now down to once, hence the change.) I'm just going to start storing it in the freezer, which brings me to my next thread.....

I've been told it is only good for 5 days in the fridge. Maybe your fridge is not turned up high enough. If I'm using in the next 2 days I keep in fridge, otherwise I freeze.

Spoiled how? Like sour spoiled, or just squirted soapy, sweaty armpit tasting stuff into the milk spoiled???

I have a high lipase issue, and after two days in the fridge, my milk tastes like what I imagine a sweaty armpit would taste like. If I plan to freeze, or keep my milker longer than the next day, I have to scald it.

:

I pump for work (M-Th out of the house.) I put Thursdays milk in the freezer for Monday. I am sure it might not technically be spoiled, but it gets kind-of scuzzy looking (the fat turns really hard on top and it looks yellow and yucky.)
