My DS's pediatrician gave me Flax seed oil to add to my meals. I hate the taste of it so want to take the pill form. The problem is the pill form has a lot less omega 3, 6, and 9. How much do you take?
Flax seed oil: Omega 3 - 7,700mg, Omega 6 - 2,240mg, and Omega 9 - 2,520mg
Flax oil 1000 mg soft gel pill: Omega 3 - 500mg, Omega 6 - 123mg, Omega 9 - 140mg, and other fatty acids - 72mg
Also how much cod liver oil do you take and does it come in a pill form? I do not eat any fish so he said either I should take this or give some to my ds. Which is better for me to take it or my DS?
