It is our one year aniversary this weekend, and a friend gave us a bottle of champagne for a wedding gift, but I havent had a chance to drink it since being pg soon after our wedding. So, I would like to crack it open for our aniversary, but I don't know the protocols on pump&dump. Could someone tell me how soon after drinking and whatever else?

No need to pump and dump! You can have one or two glasses and not worry at all. If you start to feel tipsy it is better to not nurse your baby and to have someone else around to care for your baby until you are able.

You don't have to pump and dump.

The general rule is if you are okay to drive, you are okay to nurse.

Alcohol is in breastmilk at about or less than the levels of blood. So if you are legally drunk and have a blood alcohol level of .1%, your milk would have an alcohol level of .1% or less.

Jam 7, Peanut Butter 5, and Bread 2.
