I went in for an ultrasound today b/c my midwife couldn't tell the position of baby at our last visit (which was last week). Early this week it felt to me like baby was definitely head down and lower. The u/s conformed that, and they said the baby was pretty low. Does this mean the baby has "dropped"?

It sounds like maybe you have! I'm not sure, of course, but didn't want to read your thread w/o responding. :LOL

Definately sounds like your bean has dropped. First babies usually drop a lot sooner than subsequent ones. With my first she STAYED down there so she never noticably dropped. With my second he never dropped. I was in labor and he was still floating. So far i haven't dropped at all yet with this one.

sounds like the baby dropped.
my baby can't pick a position and stick with it. She goes from being diagonal with a head buried in my Left hip to being really low in my pelvis head down.
