I'm looking for a good excavating your true self/finding your way book. I don't want something feel-good or trite. It should have some excercises for the reader to do but not be anything you have to keep at for 365 days. I prefer an approach that is more to the practical side than the spiritual, but also includes a little spirituality/connectedness. Any suggestions?

Someone recommended "Finding Your Own North Star" and it sounds like it would be intelligent and helpful. I'd love to hear if anyone's read that book, or if there is another one you'd recommend.
