I'm just getting back into writing (I'm in the slow, torturous process of--probably--abandoning my PhD to pursue writing full-time).
I have three bigger projects (YA novels) that I've been mulling over for ages. All three are compelling to me. Although I can work on shorter projects--poetry, articles, shorter fiction--on the side, I'm only able to immerse myself in one novel at a time.
It's been so long since I've really devoted myself to fiction-writing, and I'm feeling a bit rusty and intimidated. These factors, plus my genuine interest in all three ideas, are making it very hard for me to settle on one.
So, how do YOU decide when you have a number of compelling projects in the pipeline?
