Is there a resource for what a 2 year old should/could be learning & experiencing? I'm trying to incorporate more Montessori like practices in my home, but I'm not sure what I should be expecting for his age. I understand it's about practical life things and he's recently helping me feed the pets. But what about "meal" prep? Or ... I don't know LOL

I'm also unsure what I should expect him to be experiencing in his "Montessori" school. I put that in quotes because in my gut I think they are one of those school that's buys a bunch of Montessori toys and then calls themselves a Montessori school.

Loving mama to Aden (8/5/2010) and DSD (15).

Here are some good resources: http://thefullmontessori.wordpress.com/recommended-reading/

You're certainly on the right track; it's all about identifying what your child is interested in.
