hello! I am a montessori parent of children in elementary and one about to enter primary (lower el, upper el, one in middle school, and a child about to enter primary). For almost 10 years I have wanted to do the AMI primary training!

I am beginning to get serious about it, and think it is now or never. But would love to connect to guides for some mentoring and encouragement.

I also want to hear your story-- what lead you to montessori? what do you find challenging ? and what do you love?

I am AMI trained, but from 0-3, so I am not that helpful to you.. though I do know a lot of teachers who went on to do the primary training. It is great you are looking into AMI, IMO. Do you have a training center in your area, or will you have to move?

Also, I meant to say I have Montessori kids, as well. They are now 12, 10, 8, and 6, but we have done primary through 5th grade (that is all our school goes up to), and now regular middle school. Obviously, I am a big M fan!
