To echo Matt's line of thinking...if a child is so inclined, he or she can reach an amazingly high level of academic achievement before the age of 6 years old including writing and illustrating stories in cursive, performing multi-digit equations in all 4 operations, add/sub fractions, create and label maps of the world, a continent, become familiar with parts of speech and sentence analysis as well as attaining perfect pitch and composing music...all because of the fantastic materials that Montessori designed.

FYI:
You can use inter library loan for any M book (or any other book lol) you want that your library does not have in house. Just go to the circulation desk and ask for asistance.
