The school year is almost over which makes me sad. My kids love their Young Children's Community so much.

I know people sometimes ask what goes on in a toddler program; their "progress reports" may give an idea.

Really, it has been such a good thing for them. I can't sing the praises of this program (AMI) highly enough.

Mostly sane mother to twins.

I can scan in some of my DD's progress reports from the past two years.

It's basically a list of things that are done or not done and whether they're done well... or if the child gives no response.

It includes potty training, activities, whether she knows her colors, animals, general demeanor, whether she separates well in the morning, if she's social. All that. It was really neat to see it, because when DD was in Little House they gave daily reports on how well she ate, what she had for snack, if she napped, if she used the toilet etc. This progress report was unexpected.

Now that she's Pre-Primary, I miss those daily reports! But I can ask her questions now, and she'll answer.

Thank you for posting these. I am considering montessori for my daughter next fall. From the report card the toddler room sounds like a fun place to play and learn.
