Here's ours but it's constantly evolving.

We now have cornhusks and some small pumpkins and gourds that aren't pictured here.

boatbaby, is the book on your nature table Elsa Beskow's Around the Year? I've been thinking of getting that one lately......

We have a "nature windowsill" and on it are some favorite twigs, pressed leaves in green, yellow, and red, and some mama/tot felted wool acorns with real caps, and corn husks from our field. Sweet! I want to add some miniature hand-tied round haybales since that is a big part of our autumn.

Yes that is Around The Year. DS likes reading the poems with me for each month and gets all excited about it when it's time to turn to a new one. So we keep it as a back drop to our nature table... it wedges in nicely under the windows we have there aft of the mast.

Then we keep a seasonal book basket next to the nature table as well which has worked out well for our family too.

I am officially addicted to felting little acorns. All of those acorns in that bowl -- my goal is to make a felt nut for them all by Halloween and make them part of the party favors for the harvest celebration we're having for DS's friends.
I am out of control!

Well part of our nature table bit the dust. DD (18 months) managed to pull down a candle in glass. SHattered glass was everywhere. We managed to get it cleaned up before anyone got hurt.

Boatbaby, what sort of acorn caps are they? they are completely different from the ones we have in the UK they look so nice!

Everyones tables look so nice. Only just started changing our table. I waxdipped the autumn leaves we collected yesterday and they should be good to go into the basket on our table now

Ours is on the mantle. Give the age of my two it isn't something we play with per se. Although, both kids love adding to it.

Today there are tractors all over the farm cutting, raking, and rolling hay for the livestock this winter so ds and I went into the field and hand rolled some mini round haybales I posted about earlier. He is so happy and has been feeding his toy animals all morning. I should really take a picture and post how nice they are! And the house smells all autumny; like sweet hay!
Thanks, boatbaby. The Elsa Beskow book is now on "the list".

Here is ours: http://http://onehookwonder.typepad....ture-tray.html

Since my 19-month-old now has access to it (due to his climbing ability!) I'm thinking of doing something more elaborate up on our mantel as well.

*Oops, I got so worried about posting my own that I forgot to compliment everyone else's tables!! I LOVE seeing them; they are all so unique and provide such inspiration.

A happy woman

here's ours finally. We had my DD's birthday table set up for a while, so the Autumn table went up a little late.

Autumn nature table

DD was so excited to help set it up- it was so sweet. She's not shown a whole lot of interest in the past, but this time she took such care deciding where each element should go etc...

I've loved seeing everybody's tables- they're all so beautiful!!!
