Is their favorite one out there? Did you make one yourself? My husband is pretty creative, albiet a bit busy. But, I wanted to get one for our youngest. So, he would have till July.

I would say make it yourself or buy the S&H one. I bought what I thought would be an heirloom one on etsy and the dimensions are all wrong and the seller won't refund my money or do anything to fix it. Be sure to check the return policy if you buy one online.

We have THIS ONE from etsy and love it. We use it for all of our celebrations... from birthdays to solstice. The standard brass candle holders fit (a few were tight, but my husband was able to drill out and make some room) and it is just beautiful and simple. Let us know what you end up choosing!

ok, i know that this is different and silly and probably doesn't fit. . .

but martha stewart had this craft for making a menorah with a branch and some candle holders and such. . .i think it's beautiful.

i was thinking of making one for us to use on special occasions. i don't know if it will function the same as a ring (as i think that's supposed to grow?), and i'm not sure why they are used (it is just because they're nice/pretty? how do you use them?).

anyway, i was just thinking about this craft; looking forward to doing it in NZ (i'll probably leave mine in it's natural color and not do the glitter, btu i like the candle clips which can allow me to do multiple days or different numbers of candles).

My favorite is this one that was mama made, maybe your husband can do this?

We have the Spiel & Holz (S&H) one, but I really wish that my husband or I had the talent or time to do the one above, it just feels more unique and special if made at home

I have the spiel and holz advent/birthday spiral. It's beautiful, but too big for our table. Now I've got to find another good home for it.

I ordered the spiral that Boat Baby suggested and it just arrived today. It's gorgeous!
