I am looking fro waldorf homeschool resources for planning.  This year I have decided to hold a waldorf inspired learning group on Tues. and Thurs. for 5 hours each day.  We will be learning Botany, Ancient History, and Nature studies.  I am firstly looking fro any free main lesson, curriuclm guides or lesson planning on this subject and then secondly good resources to buy if I have to.  Just wondering if any of you have already taught 5th grade and had good experience with any bought or found guides.

Also, I am looking for an all around 5th grade curriculm that he can do on Mon. and Wed. and Fri. that is more self directed.  These days I will be available for help but not necessarily long lessons for I will be doing preschool.  ANy suggestions or help?

I really prefer free resources but I am also interested in bought curriuclms also.

Thank You

I use this website to help plan out my year.

I also spend the $$ to buy Melisa Neilsons curriculum guides from A Little Garden Flower.

We enjoyed the Botany curriculum from Donna Simmons quite a bit.

There's a yahoo group, Waldorf Home Educators run by Marsha Johnson with lots of great information (all free), including some specific block outlines, all in the files section.  A great resource!
