Does anyone do a different variation of the rainbow bridge birthday story to replicate or reflect your spiritual beliefs?
For us, well, we really don't have any, we're atheists, but are deeply earthy-spiritual.
For those who don't know, the Rainbow Bridge story generally speaks of a "little angel" (the child) and a "big angel" (which I feel is too much like God) looking down at her parents.
I'm thinking of using fairies instead of angels, and not including a big fairy... or maybe using mother earth as the "big angel" figure. Not sure.
Anyone tell it differently than what is "traditional"?
