I am looking for Seattle area Waldorf Homeschoolers. Anyone in the area or resources? We live in Woodinville (Cottage lake area) and would love to meet other Waldorf Homeschoolers in the area. We have 2 girls Brynn 8 and Maya 5.
We are in Bellevue, but our girls are much younger (3 and 7 months). Please let me know if you find local resources, though! I know one Waldorf homeschool family in Newcastle (their oldest are 4y twins), and I believe they use Oak Meadow.
If this goes anywhere - I'm in Sammamish and have an 8 month old son. I'd love to connect with others in the area! DS is still young, so we don't "do" much. We do try and live simply, and DS and I maintain a good daily rhythm. I keep thinking we may do the parent-tot group at Three Cedars in the fall. It's my hope!
We should connect! :)
There's a ton of Waldorf-inspired people and homeschoolers (and I'm sure some Waldorf homeschoolers!) on the Seattle Attachment Parenting list, at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/apiseattle. I think there's a homeschooling list too, but there's definitely a group- you can reach them at [email protected].
I'm not super near you, but I do have 3 daughters (ages 7--turning 8 in July, 2.5 and a 10-month old). We try to follow Waldorf & simplicity parenting principles and plan to start homeschooling using the Oak Meadow (Waldorfy) curriculum this upcoming school year. It would be great to connect with you & your girls!
