Waldorf drawings how-to?

Hi there,

does anyone know a (free) tutorial how to create the waldorf drawings? I would love to start drawing with beeswax, and create pictures for our home and draw along with the kids (doing this kind of stuff far too rarely) - but I don't know how - as in: do i start with a specific colour? First bright and than dark, or how do i layer? Or does it not matter anyway?

any ideas are appreciated.

(is chalkboard drawing similar enough? there are classes for that, but i am not sure if it's the same technique ...)

Trin with DH , DD(7)  and DS(5) ,  DD(2) ,
I am not regularly online at the moment due to the above ...

A lot of it is just trial and error and discovery, I think. I layer lighter colors over darker ones because I've found that works better. You need paper, though, with a good grip (regular smooth paper doesn't work as well), so I would recommend using a good watercolor paper.

Allison:  a little bit Waldorf, a little bit Medievalish, and always"MOMMMMYYYY!" to sweet Cecily since 12.22.05
