This is not exactly about Waldorf, but maybe you can find something relevant at this site: http://www.allianceforchildhood.net/index.htm Good luck finding the right studies!!

Mama to three sweet girls (a dramatic, chatty 10yo, a bouncy, dynamo of a 7yo, and a delightful, whimsical 3.5yo)

waldorf townships \"south africa\"

try the search string above in Google. It brought up several pieces having to do with waldorf schools in areas where children are, to say the least, economically challenged.

This is an article about a huge fundraising effort by students at over 100 waldorf schools in Europe who send money to help projects in various countries. Page 9 has an article about a waldorf kindergarten in Bogota.

I think there is a lot of stuff out there if you go worldwide. There haven't been a lot of projects for kids in the U.S. unfortunately. I know that there are schools in the slums of Brazil, too.

Hope this helps,
Nana
