I'm in a task force that is trying to change and better our Waldorf schools lunch program. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on what your schools lunch programs are. What you like or dislike about it etc.

If you'd prefer to e-mail me privately you can at hbelz@hotmail.com

I wish we had a regular hot lunch program. Unfortunately, our site is too small to offer a cafeteria. The 8th graders, as part of their fundraising for their 8th grade class trip, offer a hot lunch on Mondays. The food is organic and there is a vegeterian option. They do serve juice and a small dessert which causes some controversy but is seen as a small treat by most parents. Families sign up and pay in advance. My dd likes everything they serve so we buy for the entire school year at a discount. My ds on the otherhand, doesn't like everything so I sign him up for the lunches he likes every 2 months or so.

Did you have any specific questions I didn't answer?
