Nope, not spam LOL!

For those of you near to Sacramento, this should be fun today, rain or shine:

Mary attends a Waldorf preschool one day a week. They have a Waldorf Winter craft festival today. Games, puppet shows, gift items, crafts for the kids, a store for the kids and vendors of Waldorf type toys. I am hoping to take my mom and the little girls, I haven't gotten out much. My oldest has chicken pox and it is no fun at all

The Waldorf festival is 10-4 at Camelia Waldorf school, 5701 Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento. If you take 80 east to Sac, then south on I-5, get off on Fruitridge and go east. Turn south on Freeport, it's on your right in a weird strip mall looking thing, if you get to the airport you have gone too far. (this is not sac international airport, it's Sac Metro).

They don't have a website that's really working but you can check out their sister school here:

We are not a Waldorf family (child-led homeschooling types). But we crash the local Waldorf fairs in the Spring and Fall. Theirs is delightful! A wonderful experience for my wild child.

(The puppet shows freak her out though....)

Oh yes, it's open to everyone, they have tons of cool gift items too -- it's a super small school, less than 200 students and it's pre-8th grade.

We're going after lunch I think.
