Aaah! I nearly forgot again this year (still not used to my own stocking not being magically filled!)....just thought I'd remind you mamas. We are in the thros of cleaning the house for him!!
Our children will put out their slippers and wake to find an orange, some nuts, some yummy chocolate, and a candy cane waiting for them! What fun!

so many roads to ease my soul...

WE don't do it at home since we already have Hanukkah and Christmas to content with this month. Not to mention the overseas grandparents who over compensate for the distance by sending huge amounts of gifts!
But, my daughter's school does it. The kids have all brought in shoes to school today they tidied and polished their shoes for the visit from St. Nic tomorrow.

Aaaw, that is so cute! We are in a part of the country with a lot of German heritage, so we always had St. Nick growing up. We didn't have to clean the house for him, though , but I'm not complaining- the house is still sort of tidy And the children enjoyed their treats immensely. It's so fun to make magic!
