For those in Northern California interested in Sudbury schooling, there is a unique opportunity coming up to attend a talk by Sudbury Valley School founder and staff member Mimsy Sadofsky.
On Saturday, January 6th, 2007, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Ygnacio Valley Library, 2661 Oak Grove Road, Walnut Creek -- Ms. Sadofsky will be giving a free and public talk on "Respecting Your Child’s Gifts and Rights: Effective Education for the 21st Century."
This event is sponsored by Diablo Valley School, in honor of its 10th anniversary as a Sudbury school in Concord, California. Families and staff from the school will be there, so it's a great opportunity to meet people and ask questions.
For more information about the free talk you can call Diablo Valley School at 925-676-2982 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
. You can also post questions here and I'll answer or get an answer for you.
