Well, it was long and hard and complicated, but we are home now and all is well.

He was 9 lb 5 oz, 22 inches long.
Labor was 30+ hours with 4 hours of pushing.I was fully dialated for over 10 hours. He tried to come out with the side of his head first and things didn't look very good for a vaginal delivery, last resort forceps and my wonderfully skilled ob helped him out in 2 or 3 pushes without even a scratch.
He is wonderful.
We are trying to learn how to nurse.
I will be back later

Oh Grace! Congratulations on the birth of your son, Titus I love his name, very strong.

Damn, it sounds like it was a really rough labor. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to push for that long.

You are a birth warrior, my dear

Thank goodness that you were able to narrowly escape a c-section in light of his positioning.

So, now on to the next phase of this wild ride. Rest, be gentle with yourself, drink lots of water and eat well. I've been thinking of you for the last couple days and am so glad to hear that Titus is here and you are both healthy!

Great job, Mama

Wow, Grace... you did an awesome job... and I think Titus is so appropriate--you gave your son the gift of your own strength in his name.

Dear Grace,

What a woman you are, and what a birth story you will be able to tell for the rest of your life. How fabulous your doctor could save you from the section.

Titus is a fabulous name.

"Grace be with you all" Titus 3:15

Enjoy your Babymoon!
