Like PMS - but its been all day. I am staying off my feet for the most part (I work at a desk all day) and have been drinking a lot of water. What could it be? I dont think I am having contractions because my belly isnt getting hard.

Any ideas?

I don't know what it is exactly, but just yesterday and the day before I was getting some crampy feeling with no contractions. It felt like I was about to get my period or something. I was thinking that it might be the uterus stretching...?

I've been having some very mild contractions off and on all day, along with the wonderful feeling of needing to puke. But I went early with my other 2 so this isn't unexpected, I"m 34 weeks 5 days today.

SAME THING HERE! I feel like period cramps. Also, tons of pressure on my rectum (always feel like I have gotta poop). Maybe the baby is a dropping a bit. I thought, well, maybe some BH, but my uterus doesn't feel hard either.

I get crampy a lot also. I chalk it up to stretching uterus.
take care

I vote stretching uterus...but i don't get that too often. Least not now. Usually it's just kind of achey. But I also don't get bad period cramps much...do you? Is there a correlation?

I have always thought that those crampy feelings that come and go are BHs? They feel like early labor felt with my DD.

I've been feeling crampy...especially at night on and off for about 2 hours for the past 2 weeks.

I got 'period cramps' throughout the second tri, still occasionally get them now. They don't feel like Braxton Hicks, though.

My midwife says it is probably just the uterus growing.

Ok I am feeling more at ease that I am not the only one. I have been having TONS of BH contractions. I actually had a real mild contraction on wednesday but it was all by itself.

My thing is I cramp when I walk. They hurt too. Like stabbing cramps. I can't walk very far without cramping.

I am also getting the rectum pressure. I don't remember any of this happening with DD but it is my second so I guess this stuff happens.

I never had PMS cramp before I had Max but I did when I got my period back after having him (at 18 months post pardum). So I dont know. But its weird because its a constant crampy feeling - not like stretching or uterus growing or contractions - just constant.

But good to know pretty much everyone feels this way! I didnt have this during my last pregnancy at all.

Oh and I also didnt have any BHs last time - not even one. But I think I have had a few this time already. Maybe like 4 - I am not sure that is what it is but its just a very, very tight feeling and my belly seems pretty hard (but it kind of seems really hard all the time so who knows!) but no cramps at that time.

The cramps and the tightness seem like two totally seperate things. Geez you would think this is the first time I was pregnant w/ how confused I am :LOL I guess every pregnancy really is very different!
