I'm right there with you....i'm not up for that long at night, but my head is spinning so hard and fast with pregnancy thoughts that it takes me forever to fall asleep, and with ds1 still nursing 5-6 times a night at 19 months, I'm awake alot, therefore feel like I spend most of the night tryign to fall asleep instead of actually sleeping. It sucks! Then I drag my butt around all day, jujst waiting for the time to go to bed int he evening, only to lie there....

sigh.

the other night, dh was snoring beside me and ds was finally asleep, and everytime dh would snore, I would want to punch him, thinking to myself..."I'm pregnant, I need sleep, and there you are, oblivious to my pain..." I haven't had such irrational thoughts since the month ds was born and I would sit awake at night nursing him and thinking to myself "if only I put a pillow over dh's head, the snoring would stop...!"

Ahhhhhh...hormones!

wishing you some sleepy time soon.

I feel your pain! Sleep deprivation is brutal, however we are afflicted with it. How come you are suffering from insomnia?

Mine is brought on by having a little babe who is a night waker, a cat that meows/using the litter box just once I get DS back to sleep (threatening to wake him), and multiple illnesses in the house at once. It got so bad that even when I did fall asleep, I stayed just below the surface waiting to have to jump to attention! I mean, in bed for 6 hours and up 12 times? PLEASE! Have mercy! End of pity party.

I hope that you are able to get some good quality sleep very soon .
