So I was thinking...if we all edit our posts it won't be a ton to read through...but I know I like to have a 'to do' list....anyone care to share theirs?

* order birth kit DONE!!
* seperate birth items (towels and sheets) DONE!!
* wash nursing items DONE!!
* wash baby clothes DONE!!
* organize my bedroom DONE!!
* finish kitchen 'project' DONE!!
* find recipies, and freeze a few meals DONE!
* put away stuff in crawl space DONE!!
* get Jack's toy box out of my room
* get house cleaned for home visit DONE!!

I know there is more but my brain stopped working now that my 'alone time is over'

*************
Ok, well, we're going to set up the crib after she's born. If I use the bassinet for a few days that's not a big deal. Dh can probaly get the thing set up while I'm sitting here nursing and ds is watching a movie, or napping. So..I'm taking that off the list..

Steam cleaning our carpets, we only really want to do the baby's room, which she won't be moving into for a while, and right now it's great for small storage while we decide what to keep or toss. So...that's coming off the list until it's time for her to move into her room.

And finish cleaning out the office...well, there are a few things left that I need to take care of, so I will do what I can...but it no longer involves cleaning OUT the office stuff, since we have no place to put the stuff we want to keep just yet.

I just got all my stuff done today.

The rest of the things can wait till later, as they are less important.

But, on my list is to get the page protectors and photo album for his baby book (made my own pages cause I couldn't find a book that I liked) and a get an extra waterproof mattress cover.

I'm pretty much ready. The clothes and the diapers are washed. We're co-sleeping so there's no crib to set-up. My hospital bag is mostly packed, minus things that will be thrown in at the last minute because I'm still using them (like the camera!). The infant seat is in the car. I will be switching sides that that carseats are on, but I won't do that until the new baby is actually occupying the infant seat.

I do need to bring some of the baby gear downstairs where we will spend most of the day - the pack n play, swing, and bouncy seat. I barely used any of those with my first DD, but I figure I will put this one down a little more often while I tend to the almost 2 year old! ;-) The pack n play will be used for naps downstairs (hopefully!). All that stuff can wait until she is actually here, though. I don't need it cluttering things up until she gets here.

I'm feeling very calm about everything this time. If I've forgotten anything before she's here, there's really not anything that can't be done afterwards.

I'm a bit of an unorganized list maker, too. Still not stressing or panicked.

What I really need to do:
*wash diapers
*bring carseat/basinette and such down from attic and clean them up
*pack hospital bag
*make a list of people to call/email/maybe send actual announcements to
*find and wash breastpads/buy more if I can't find them *DONE*

It would be nice if I could:
*clean the carpets
*have dh finish the bathroom
*get some meals made and frozen (if not I know my folks will take care of us)
*sell the Outback

I have yet to make an actuall list, this could get scary for me!! We took care of the carpet last week, which is my green light to do everything else!! Picked up a crib and cradle from my grandma this weekend also, I'm so excited I get to use the crib my dad, my self and some of my cousins more recently used and the cradle my grandfather built for my dad, it is built a little high so it works as a great nap space and changing table!

*shorten the doors to fit with the new carpet
*put the crib and cradle together
*buy new dresser!
*buy a crib mattress!
*wash clothes and diapers
*buy everything you might need for a baby!!, we have nothing(except a few clothes and dipes to get through first few months), but my sister is having a shower and I should be getting a bit of what we need then. For sure a car seat and stroler system.
*wash the baby's room, the walls and windows,

I think that's it. I've been trying to hold off on buying anything except the diapers, no one I know would buy me cloth diapers, they wouldn't know where to start. I just bought my last covers on Thursday, atleast my last newborn covers, this is my first cloth diaper experience so I'm alittle nervous, but excited!

This will be good for me to write it all down.

Rewash all of the baby clothes in sensitive detergent (I forgot when I washed them last week)
Buy a swing
Buy a couple girl outfits, since I already have a ton of boy stuff
Figure out where baby will sleep, so 2 year old doesn't disturb the baby
(maybe put together the crib that we never used for ds)
Preregister at the hospital
Order envelopes and get the mailing labels on for the announcements
Start (and hopefully finish) web site for my photography
Make a list of how my ds's day usually goes, what to feed him, how to put him to sleep, etc. since I don't know who will be taking care of him and won't until the day of labor
