Why is my pee dark brownish?? I thought maybe I was dehydrated but I can't even begin to tell you how much water I drank today. And still it is this brownish icky color. I take vitamins. Vit C, acdolp., and precare but I have for a while and it has never been like that before. Anyone have any ideas???

Not to scare you, but a month after having brown urine I found out my liver was VERY enlarged. They called it hepatitis, but that's just fancy terminology for a big liver. Definitely get that looked into!

My pee turned dark when I developed pre-e.
Not to alarm you, but it might be a warning sign. It's better to get these things checked out and be safe, rather than sorry!!
Best of luck, let us know what happens!!!

i hope it's just being caused by your vitamins, but I'd get it checked out too - better safe than sorry!

UTIs can cause that. You do need to get it checked right away.

Did you eat/drink anything brown? Sometimes things you consume can change your pee color..
Last week I was so scared that my pee was greenish, but then I realized I just drank the green smoothie. :
I hope you're ok!
