...it went well. My BP was 130/80, which was a little high for me.....it's usually like 128/72 - ish. She thinks we just needed a bigger pressure cuff. I've gained
7 lbs in 4 weeks. I suppose that's not too bad, I've gained 34 lbs total this pregnancy. I ganed 37 total with DS, so it seems right on target for me.

So I got my birth supplies list, and for the birth kit (with the stuff like gauze, cord clamps, sterile gloves, etc) it says on the form to order by 34 weeks or she can't guarantee it will be ready by the birth Well, I'm like 36 weeks tomorrow so ??? I guess I should ask my midwife if I should order or find another way to get the supplies. Hmmm.

The stuff that's not part of the birth kit won't be a problem, looks like I have a lot of it already...meals, nursing bras, herbal sitz bath, rubbing alcohol and cotton balls, receiving blankets, etc. The rest I can get done in a shopping trip.

She asked me when I thought this baby would come and I said mid-September and she laughed (in a good hearted way). That's only two weeks away .

Baby is ready, head down, I'm ready except needing the supplies. Which I feel like I need to get all this weekend and do a super cleaning with the help of DH so I can just relax a bit until the baby comes.

...okay, I'm getting a little nervous and very excited

The appointment seems like it went well.
sorry about your blood pressure, hopefully it was just one of those things.

I dont get my birthing kit until the 22nd. This midwife is really expecting me to go on time, it seems! lol
