So today I'm feeling slightly crampy. I don't really remember if I felt like this at 36 weeks when I was pregnant with DS or not. Is it normal to feel like this at this stage? It's kind of reminding me of the very early beginnings of a period...that slight crampiness down low and into the legs, and an ever so slight back ache.

i've been having that feeling for the last 2 weeks (i'm 35 weeks). i've been checked by the midwife and i'm not dilating so i guess its just the baby riding low and my body getting ready.

Yeah, I'm kind of figuring I'm just getting close and my body is getting ready. I think with DS I was 70 % effaced and 2cm dilated like 1 or 2 weeks before I went into labor. And now that I think about it, yeah I do recall feeling kind of crampy at this stage with DS.

I'm 35 weeks, and just started to feel the cramps as well, especially last night. So, this is just another part of the last stage? That's good to know, I was getting a little concerned at what it could be, since it didn't feel like gastrointestinal distress, or anything like that.
