I prefer using a wrap. You can see here how to use them: http://www.mamatoto.org/

You can buy an expensive one like a Moby...well, about $30 so not *that* expensive. Or find some fabric on the $1/yd table at WalMart and buy 5yds.

I really love my TaylorMade ring slings and good ol' Maya wraps.

I had an over the shoulder baby holder with my last two and I really liked it. A lot of mommas say they don't like ring slings but I loved it. I do wish it didn't have as much padding. For this baby I got a Kozy Mei tei. I am thinking of getting a native Baby Carrier too.

Maya Wrap all the way! Like a ring sling with no padding. Very adjustable and I can wear it under my coat in the fall/winter. I have a big old coat I do up around the two of us and I know the baby is cozy.

This is my first so I'm not sure about what kind to use either! But I bought a Hotsling since I heard alot of things about it. And a girl I know sells Mobys and I've been thinking about getting one of those as well.

I like the ring slings...a good online friend made mine plus this time I have picked up a myride cheap and it seems pretty good too..it's padded and the homemade one isn't.

I would also like a pouch...I am hoping to get one somewhere cheap or hand made as well.

I've read tons of great things about the hotsling... do any of you have experience using one?

My doula is going to bring over a maya wrap and a new native baby carrier for me to check out at our next visit, too. It just seems like both of those carriers have had pretty mixed reviews.

I just ordered a hotsling too! I was a little worried about picking the correct size since there were so many. Way more difficult than ring slings...

That's the thing! When I put in my stats for sizing, it gave me THREE options to choose from!

Me too. It gave me 3, 4, and 5, which it also said were the most common. I chose the 5 because I am pretty long waisted, or perhaps because I'm feeling so large these days. We'll see...
