...so, I feel like I could be having very early labor contractions. Who knows though. With DS it started with back labor, water breaking, and a very intense labor where it was nearly impossible to time anything. It's like I'm having braxton hicks but once in a while it's painful down in my pelvis, butt and back..a little tiny bit in my thighs. My whole uterus is tensing up very tightly and the pain spreads down at the end. Nothing regular though, who knows. It gets my attention but it's not stopping me from doing things I normally do. I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but if they start to seem regular I will time them. Okay, I'm off to make a pot of chili .
I have early labor for a couple of days with mine. Take it easy, make your chili, get into baby mindset. Maybe it'll still be a week, who knows, but don't get yourself too worn out just in case you need the energy ; )
Thanks for the link, I bookmarked it. Chili is almost done and I think once DH gets home the plan will be: eat chili, get a back rub, take a hot bath and go to sleep. I may try timing these contractions for the heck of it. Although they don't seem real regular. I will have a few of them...then nothing, etc. I do feel like it could be a couple days (or a week). Your advice to rest is good. With DS I hadn't eaten or rested well the day of labor so this time I'm really letting myself slow down, eat whenever I'm hungry, take naps and going to bed early
Nothing exciting to report yet. Just woke up with more of a low back ache, slight headache, just feeling off today. Still some crampiness. None of the contractions like yesterday so far today. We are heading over to the library to get DS some "Big brother" kind of books, maybe find some on homebirth. He knows a lot from us talking but I thought some books would be nice. After the library we take my DH to work and then head over to my midwife's office for a scheduled appointment today.
I will definitely check in if anything new happens
