I have been having a similar time with the posterior start/stop thing.
30 or so minutes knee-chest worked wonders! For me, it made the ctx stop, which is okay, since I am just barely 37 weeks. But for you, it might get that baby pushing right against your cervix, which would make the ctx more productive. Some "hula hips" would help too!
What is knee-chest? Sounds like I need this, too! I know my babe was posterior, not sure if she still is. But I certainly am having lots of pre-labor that isn't turning into the real thing.
Would pelvic rocking work for posterior? On hands and knees and rocking the pelvis in and out without bending the back too much... I would think that knees to chest in on hands and knees too, but I'd like to know how to do that too!
For me, knee-chest is the same as yoga's "child pose." Essentially, you get in hands and knees, and then sit back on your legs. Your belly will be touching the ground, and your pelvis is spread wide. Can you picture that? Use pillows if too much belly rubs the ground.
It's comfy, and I can't get comfy in hands and knees. (I hurt my ankle earlier in the pregnancy and it puts weird pressure on it.)
Cool, I could hang out in that position much better than hands and knees. Even pelvic tilts have been challenging with a sore back. Child's pose sounds good
you could also try to kneel and get your chest down on a bed (for me I use something like a boppy to help support my chest). Idea is to get your butt up in the air.
I hope those babies turn - posterior labor is tough!!
