I half -watched it while doing bills. I thought it was pretty good. I think the right person got fired. Next week it looks like it is 2 hours again. If Desperate Housewives isn't a rerun I'll watch that then turn to Celebrity Apprentice for the second hour.

I thought it was great!

I see a big problem though. The men have celebrities that both men and women can relate to. Men are going to love the sports guys, women are going to love Clint Black and Scott Hamilton.

The women have celebrities that no one really knows or cares about. Melissa and Joan Rivers are sort of train wrecks but, they're not really exciting celebrities. Other than the playboy chick, I can't seen any one of the women celebrities that men will care about and not really any that women will either.

The men have a huge advantage as far as star power so I hope all the challenges don't involve the public.

And that Annie Duke (is that the poker player's name)? Wow, she's a tough cookie. I could see how she would be really irritating but, she is a take charge person. She needs to work on her delivery but, I think she's spot on.

Michelle - I definitely agree with you. I was familiar with or at least had heard of all the guys - the girls...not so much! I'm glad they were able to draw on some strengths though and show that they know people (like the Playboy girl getting some bunnies to come down, the Deal or No Deal girl calling Eric Benet, etc). I could see all the girls at least pulling their weight, not so much for the guys!

So is the Apprentice a Sunday show now? I think the last time I watched it was on during the week...I can definitely do Sunday nights as that gives me something to keep me occupied while DH is at work!

Interesting. I think you're probably right.

I enjoyed the show more than I thought I was going to. I think Rodman should have been fired though. At least Andrew Dice Clay did SOMETHING. Rodman didn't seem to contribute anything, and I wonder why he's even there.

After really concentrating hard not to get completely distracted by the kind PSA for bad overdone cosmetic surgery (OMG!) I was very entertained by this show as always.

Dennis Rodman is extremely annoying and whiny. The Diceman was pretty funny, but I'm glad he's gone.

The Donald Jr's hairdo cracks me up, it's like the reverse of the Donald Sr hairdo. Ivanka is impressive with her presence and serious down to business attitude.

I think that the poker player lady is a know it all, and we know what happens to those.

Tom Green cracks me up, and I felt really bad for the Playboy model (sorry don't recall her name) when the Poker lady dogged on her about giving a flat of cupcakes up. She was treating her like she was a stupid child and I thought that was really mean.

Joan Rivers is extremely painful to watch.:

Good stuff.

I loved it!

I was glad to see Dice go, although I think he would have made the season entertaining. Like someone said, who wants to have someone on their team when he fully admits he does things his way only and wont cooperate.

That Annie, she is rude and annoying. She is gonna get old quick!

Rodman better step it up or hes next.

I love Tom Green and my LBC man Jesse James

The rest of the women seem pretty dull.

Yeah...he has like a flip in the back? I didn't know guys wore flips?

And Dice was pretty funny - I love the way he blamed Donald for not having bagels in their board rooms! Too funny!

Yeah, I watched it, too and I enjoyed it. I agree with a pp - Joan Rivers IS very painful to look at. It's amazing how surgeries she's had on her face!! Ouch.

I like the PB bunny - love her attitude and passion. Annie - yeah, she's gonna get old quick. Not a huge fan of her - way too bossy!

And I love Tom Green. I just love his quirky personality!!

IIRC, for each of the Celebrity Apprentice seasons, the season opener usually requires them to call upon their celebrity status and to appeal to the public/get their rich friends to help them out. But most of the other tasks are related to producing something - producing a gala, producing a commercial, producing an ad campaign, etc.

I love this show. It's hilarious.

I LOVE ANNIE DUKE!!! not only cuz we've been on mom groups together but that she doesn't take any gruff is a quality I LOVE and adore. She can get things done!

this is going to be a great season. Tom Green and Jesse James! OH MY! Jesse James had two lines in the boardroom last night, "Those cupcakes sucked" and "my friends don't have any money!" LOL! he's really hard to not love.....maybe we'll get to see Sandra Bullock?

I haven't watched it in ages, but tuned in last night.

I think either Andrew Dice Clay or Dennis Rodman should have gotten the axe. Dice quitting...and then not quitting... I think basically sealed it for him. Also, I wonder if calling Trump "Donny" helped seal his fate?

I like a lot of the people on the guy's team. KOTU?

I'm not familiar with most of the women. Joan & Melissa...sure... and yes, her face looks absolutely painful. I liked the playboy bunny. I thought Annie Duke was a definite asset to the team, but I think she'll be axed soon.

Donald Jr.'s hair is just hilarious. It must be a family trait.

I missed the first half last night because our cable went out. Grrr! So how did Scott Hamilton end up being project manager? And was Tom Green really as obnoxious as Scott was saying at the end? I felt really badly for Scott. I know he's REALLY committed to his charity.

I wanted to feel badly for Scott, but honestly he was acting like he had short angry man syndrome. He was putting Tom down and being really disrespectful. Then Hershel calls Tom a liar.

I felt bad for Tom and wanted Scott gone, I've lost a lot of respect for him. His eye rolling and just rude behavior were so over the top.

Tom Green was NOT being obnoxious, anyone who thought he was has not seen much Tom Green, because when he's obnoxious it's REALLY obvious.

Tom wanted to help, Tom was extremely creative and they just kept telling him to sit down "it's not about you Tom". He never really got to give any input, they would just diss his ideas and say he was trying to break their focus.

EEE was the lamest possible name for their character.

Jesse James should have stood up more, and man Clint Black sure seems like a jerk.

Melissa Rivers too, wow what a piece of work. "The entire thing was MY concept."

roll

I was very mad for Tom and for Claudia last night getting dissed like that.

This show is good this year, major drama.

The way it was edited - I felt bad for Tom.

I think Tom was being a little hyper - but by the same token, I think others were being dismissive.

It seemed that the less they seemed to listen the more hyper Tom got (ah...probably in attempt to be heard????). It was just a bad cycle.

None-the-less Tom clearly called them on the EEE name and deliverred a fairly decent presentation.

Hershel is beginning to annoy me. He expects to be listenned to - but he is a bit agressive. The thing where he repeatedly said "shut up" to Tom was over the top in arrogance.

I like the Playboy centerfold. Not only is she easy on the eyes, but seems smart and committed. I was a little worried about her feet when she was running though.

I thought after last epi that Tom was going to do great this week. I missed the first 15 minutes, but at the end of the first day, it was like all high-fives and they were doing great. Amazing that it all fell to pieces for Tom like that. I was a fan after last show, but he totally shot himself in the foot going out drinking with Dennis. Like anything good could ever come of that! And from the promos you can see why Dennis was kept around. The ladies are doing a good job just being boring. Too bad they don't have more star power --> drama. Annie Duke + the Rivers is kinda good tho.

I thought it was really unfair to have so many women-friendly tasks. what happened to the remodel-the-apartment and see how much you can rent it for? If I were a man and learned the next task was selling wedding dresses I would have been mad.

I bet they rearrange the teams for next week.

I'm starting to think that Dennis Rodman might end up winning it all. Everyone kind of ignores him because "He's Dennis" and I could almost see all the others getting fired for one reason or another and Dennis being the only one left.

I agree that drinking with Dennis was a very bad idea.

Interesting task last night...although Dennis is a HOTT MESS; I'm glad the boys rocked it

I think Trump made the right choice with who he fired, but we'll see how strong the ladies are if they lose again

i really like that Jesse James guy! He has all the best ideas and is a really good team player and everything.

On the girls team I also like the playboy bunny girl...what the heck is he name? lol I just remember her by that! I'll have to pay attention next time.

I really thought the project manager for the girls was no good this week and the person who went home deserved it.

Yeah...Jesse is kinda the highlight of the boys team!

The Playboy bunny is Brande Roderick, she is a very strong player given her profession; I'm sure no one was expecting that from her.

Well, according to the previews, they're doing an intervention this week because of Dennis' drinking. I wonder if they'll kick him off for that?

Hey what did you all think of the double firing!

FIrst of all, clint totally should have been fired. He sucked as project manager, hasn't been doing all that great this whole season and really his viral video was stupid, too risque, and didn't help the advertisers in any way.

Also, I thought it was weird that he fired khloe due to her dui. I mean a dui is serious and not cool, etc. but she is attending her classes and what not, and this happened BEFORE the show...he said he supposedly had JUST found out...but okay.... the firing thing was weird.

I thought jesse james video was hilarious and if they left out the midgets swearing at the end, maybe they would have won? instead of having two losing teams...

what a weird episode! lol

oh yeah and firing the tlc girl just because she "volunteered" to stand by melissa....shouldn't he have just tried to figure out the weakest person? Or blamed the project manager because they lost? I almost think he fired her because she is kind of boring. Hasn't added any drama to the show, etc. Also, she has zero facial expressions...doesn't even smile!

The double firing was really weird. He's such a hardass tho. When he fired Tionne my husband and I were both in shock.

I can understand why he fired Khloe, on principle. She's paying for her DUI conviction via taking classes, yes, but clearly Trump feels really strongly about people who drive while impaired and I definitely approve of him sticking by his guns.

The Athena video was hilarious. I loved every second of it, even the midgets swearing at the end. That's internet humour -- it's crude and self-mocking.

I thought that Athena's video was a great example of a viral video. I thought it was interesting that the ALL people wanted something that was "cutting edge" as a viral video but at the same time wanted it to be conservative and appeal to women with children. I thought the Athena video was very appealing to their demographic but they are picturing housewives in their aprons being offended. Does that make sense???

I think Donald Trump is a d**che.

He thinks he's so much better than everyone else. Labeling and punishing Khloe over something in the past that she's rectifying is just really strange.

His "ethics" about DUI's? Hmm he better poll all his contestants because I'm almost fairly positive Khloe isn't the only DUI. Rodman got "wow buddy you really need to take care of this problem." and Khloe got condemnation. Total double standard.

Donald isn't a righteous person, he has many faults. He sucks as a husband for one, and he's a creepy pervert. How many times did he need to say how hot the actress was in Clint's "video"? He even said "Wow Clint your wife isn't going to like this." Maybe Melania isn't going to like Donald's gross old man drool fest over the actress either?

I just think he was tripping when he fired Khloe. She's trying to make something terrible into something positive (her charity was drug and alcohol related) and he just craps on her face like that. Rude. And you notice we didn't see her chugging drinks back. I think he just needs serious psychological help. He's so narcissistic.

He seems to like labeling human beings by terms like loser. It makes me sick. He makes a bad name for rich people.

I'm not watching the show anymore. Donald is a turnoff. Ditto on Clint Black. Laundry will never be the same.
