Anyone still watching this? Anyone see this week's epi?

Nathan in his Mal Reynolds space cowboy uniform!! With little hints of Firefly's intro music. And a Buffy reference. A blogger called it 'the geekiest hour of television ever' and that's totally what it was.

Best episode of Castle yet. Too much fun!

I LOVE this show. And this season is getting way better than last season. The characters are starting to flesh out. Beckett is getting a little more laid back. Castle is getting more respectful of her (but also still a smart ass) I even like the way the two other detectives are getting more time and more character. I still love the interaction between Castle, his mom and his daughter. Oh boy, I hope this show doesn't get cancelled- I love NF!

And aaaaahhhhhh. To see the suspenders and browncoat again. Almost passed out from pure pleasure!!

I'm glad that they are acknowledging their fan base. I would never have gotten into another police procedural show without Nathan Fillion's charms. I did rather wonder if the daughter's comment about "get over it" was really aimed at us.

Naw, because we'll never get over it. LOL

Anyone catch the 2 by 2 reference on the episode 2 weeks ago? The snippet is on Youtube.

And I was really hoping Fillion would be Captain Hammer at the party.

I actually squealed with glee when I saw him in the Firefly garb! And it put a smile on my face the entire next day. Ah, Mal...how I miss you.

DH and I just haven't been able to watch it yet. We've DVR'd the shows, but probably will just have to rent the season when the time comes. It's good to hear that it is well liked.

What I've actually seen of the show is pretty good. But how could it be bad with the eye candy that is Nathan Fillion? Sigh...

Castle is one of our favorites, too! We haven't watched this week's episode yet, but I'm sure hubby will surprised to see Mal! We have the Firefly season on DVD... btw... totally disappointed they didn't keep that show running! I hope they don't cut this one!

OT... anyone going to watch V on Monday? I didn't notice until hubby pointed it out, but Inara (Morena Baccarin) is going to play Anna on V. Exciting!

Oh, yeah! Although I think it's on Tuesday here, not Monday (just in case anyone goes looking to program their TiVo or something ). I remember watching the old cheesy mini-series - so awesomely bad. Hoping for higher production quality this time.

Castle is a really great show. Probably better than it should be, considering the ridiculous premise.

Me, me, me! I think this season has really picked up the pace and now it's one of my most-looked-forward-to shows! I liked it last season but this season it's just gotten funnier and funnier! I love all the supporting characters - how funny was it when the two cops were debating which is the cutest Jonas brother!? And I love Alexis and Castle's mom - they add a lot, too. And of course the tension between Castle and Beckett! Love it!

I love this show too. Has anyone read Heat Wave. They had someone ghost write the novel Castle supposedly wrote. They even put Nathan's picture on the back. It's just like watching an episode except with different names and a big love scene.

There is a trope on various cop show that it is always the famous guest star who "done it". I love that the writers and casting folks seem to be on to this with Castle. At least, my and DH had a conversation that went something like "Anders did it, no it was Max Medina. I recognize Max Medina and Gilmore Girls was probably bigger numbers wise than Battlestar..." The episode with the whips messed with this too.

I had no idea that there's an actual book. Now I must have it.

I love this show. It's light and fun and I love the characters. I've only just started watching so I have a lot of catching up to do.

OK....I watched every Firefly episode last week, for the very first time.

LOVED IT!!!!!!!! So mad that it was only 14 episodes long. That show had so much potential! It's wrong, just. wrong.

So, now I guess I'd better start watching Castle. I'll give it a shot, especially since they are making Firefly references!

I am almost done watching season 1 from iTunes and am so happy it's had a couple more seasons at least! I will keep watching. I loved Firefly, too - can't wait to see the eps of Castle with the references! I am such a sucker for single dads with teenage daughters - love their relationship.

Not too spoilery IMHO. As it I don't mind knowing a set up as long as I don't get told how it ends.

Hw was cute in this too. He's doing a book promo in character when he finds a body. Wait for the shoutout at the end.
