That fox show with the band that saw ghosts and solved their problems (kind of a live action Scooby Doo) -- cannot remember the name.

Legend (with Q & McGuyver)

Most Sid & Marty Kroft shows

American Gothic

Oh, and Emergency 51!!! Oh yeah! Gage was a name we had picked out for a while inspired by Randolf Mantooth - I wanted to marry him when I was 6!
Captain Caveman - And the Teen Angels
Jabber Jaws
Anybody from Arizona or lived there when they were a kid?

She TV -a late summer show in the early/mid 90's that only lasted a short time, but had the single funniest moment on TV that I have ever seen. They actually made a hilarious bit of ridiculing a hemmoroid product "just for women" right before...you guessed it...a commercial for a hemmoroid product just for women. The timing was incredible. Of course, ridiculing a sponsor may have been part of the reason it didn't last long.

(I'm showing my age here.) Laugh-In! Cutting edge humor, pushing the limits. I didn't get all the jokes as a kid, but I KNEW they were doing something nobody else on TV had done.

And I wish Mr. Rogers could live forever. Well, there's always re-runs.

I miss Star Trek, The Next Generation.

I can be kept alive with the subsequent shows but nothing will take the place of TNG and the Enterprise D (may she rest in peace)

I know my geekieness shows.

OOooh, yes. M*A*S*H!!!! How did they pack so much in a 30 minute show?! It takes most TV shows a full hour to get that much drama, comedy, tragedy.

I do like "Scrubs" now, and it reminds me of MASH some.

M*A*S*H - Definitely an alltime favorite in our household!

Once and Again - I refused to watch anything on ABC for a long time after they cancelled that, but did watch 8 Simple Rules until John Ritter died and they put David Spade on (can't stand him).

My So Called Life

I totally forgot about St. Elsewhere until I read through others' posts. That was a good show.

Was this show That's Life, which was on a few years ago? The girl (Lydia - I think played by Heather Paige Kent) was from New Jersey not Queens, so I'm not sure if we're remembering the same show. My dh and I LOVED it and made it our date night every week it was on. Actually, dh really humored me by watching it but he loved that *I* loved it. I grew up in New Jersey...

I'm really dating myself, but my old, much missed faves include:
Mod Squad
Here Come the Brides
The Waltons
The Wonder Years
WKRP in Cincinnati
All in the Family - I remember its first episode that I saw as a teenager, and being SHOCKED when Archie said damn 3 times on television. That never happened before. Oh my have times changed.
