I think my mom used to watch Roseanne. That is awesome. I nearly cried when I saw the pic of the wedding. Why don't they show things like that on TV anymore?

Co-sleeping is really wonderful when your child actually SLEEPS!! familybed1.gif

Rosanne reruns are a staple for me during my pregnancy insomnia and then in those first few weeks when baby is up at night. I have always thought their portrayal of breastfeeding was great!

Sorry I have no idea why this popped in my head. Have any of you seen the Family Guy episode, where Louis tries to wean Stewie? He goes as far as to hook a breast pump up to her at night, jump from a swing to another BFing mama's chest, then at the end Louis decides NOT to wean. Heck I was even happy for that because you see almost NO Bfing on TV. Even when you dp, 9 times out of 10 it is negative.

LOL, I love that Family Guy episode. Too funny. Especially how Stewie is all mad at the end and doesn't want to nurse at first but then can't help it. Perfect portrayal of a cranky toddler.

so weird! last night i was flipping late night & the episode where crystal has the new baby & is in roseanne's kitchen freakin about him not sleeping at all & then sits at the table & starts nursing him. dan has a cute/shocked/funny (i love LOVE john goodman-especially on this show) reaction to it but overall-they just made it seem totally chill...

crazy i stumbled upon this thread!
