adding to my list:

Game of Thrones

Dexter (season 5 at the moment)

Maybe I'll give Mad Men a try when I'm through with Dexter.

The Newsroom
Breaking Bad (on season 2 right now)
Dexter (on season 7 right now)
Veep
Girls
Justified
Boardwalk Empire
Game of Thrones
True Blood

I've only seen season 1 of Downton Abbey. I liked it, but keep forgetting to watch it. I've never seen The Walking Dead or Mad Men, but I have lots of friends who rave about those.

I'm a huge fan of Joss Whedon's shows ever since my partner introduced me to him. So far I've finished Firefly and Dollhouse (highly recommend both) and have one and a half seasons left of Angel on Netflix. I'm also enjoying Hemlock Grove and like to catch the Big Bang Theory. I don't watch TV, only netflix, and only about once a week. I used to really like watching Nurse Jackie, Weeds, Justified, and Anger Management.

Agents of SHIELD is pretty cool, since you're a Whedon fan.

Oh my goodness. My partner just had me start Game of Thrones. I'd never seen an episode before, hadn't really heard much about it either other than people loved it. It's pretty awesome.

I'm thrilled that The Walking Dead has started up again. It gives me nightmares but I can't stop myself from watching it.

It's still growing on me. At first I was skeptical on it's objective, but as time has shown. I'm probably one surprisingly happy fan. But it's not one of my favorites.

Question

Joss Whedon is a pretty stand up guy. I kinda of liked a few of his roles.

Blacklist! I think James Spader is excellent in the main role, with his air of jaded arrogance.

We don't watch much, but my husband and I love Blacklist, and we like Battle Creek.

We were huge House fans, and the original Law and Order. Both of us watched it wayyy back in the day, so we miss that one.
