My kids are outgrowing PBS Kids and I'm looking for entertaining shows that I feel comfortable with them watching. Any recommendations for shows they'll like that are free from romantic flirtation, gender stereotypes, unattainable beauty standards, glorification of rudeness, etc?

My friends' kids that age love Mythbusters. That's all I've got.

Thanks, lizzy! I like Mythbusters, too.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Have you tried x-posting this in the childhood years forum?  Might get some more hits there.

Have they watched Wild Kratts? It may be a PBS type show - not sure. DD1 (10) and ds2 (almost 8) both enjoy it, and have for quite a while.
