If you go to the Fox website there's a nice long (2 1/2 or 3 minute) video - it was on the front page yesterday- promo that has lots of stuff I haven't seen on the TV promo spots. It's really good and gives a few clues about what's going to happen. I had heard that the big thing this year was that the Chinese find out Jack's alive and the US gov't has to track him down and kill him, but if that's part of the story at all it's definitely not the focus.

I CAN't WAIT 3 MORE WEEKS!! TORTURE!!!!!!

I'm really looking forward to it, too. My DH is out. of. his. mind. for this show. Every other day or so he's like..."guess what?!" "24 in X more days!" Cracks me up to see a grown man giggle like a schoolkid gettin' some candy!

I can't wait to see how they bring him back to life.

We have a huge '24' party planned for all of our friends.

We have yet to watch Season 4 though, I just bought it for DP for Christmas. So far we've watched every season on DVD.

I'm excited, DH is even more excited then I am, he mentions it all the time. Our only conflict is with the Sunday night, we are also addicted to Desperate Housewives.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

My evil, greedy DH... he was glued to the first season, but didn't care to let me in on the big secret because he knew he'd have to answer a million questions, until I got caught up.

Now I'm hooked and have been for the past 2 years.

We got our peaceful, sister & brother-in-law hooked. It's so funny to hear my brother-in-law yell at the screen (at Jack) "JUST KILL HIM!"

One more hour!!!!

We're finishing up dinner and ds is (unbeknownst to him) going up for bed early tonight so dh can be back down in time to settle in and get ready for 2 hours of Jack. I already know I'm going to be so stressed and cursing this show for the next 20 weeks. I'm going to miss having a real beer with the show this season since #2 is on his way. Oh- and I am going to be VERY upset if I go into labor on a Monday night in May!

DH and I missed the first several episodes of season 4, and tried to catch up in the middle, but it was just too confusing. We ended up renting the DVDs and watching them ALL in one weekend recently. Whew!

We were SO glued to the TV last night. We were sad about Palmer, but hey, the guy's put in a LOT of good performances over the years on 24, otherwise why would anyone CARE he had been assasinated? They have this unbelievably high "drama" level they have to maintain...

I'm really sad about Tony and Michelle. It was AWESOME they got back together, I wish they could have gone on to have a bunch of kids and a happy peaceful life.

I was sad about Michelle getting axed only because I really like Tony. I didn't dislike Michelle for any reason, but I felt she didn't love Tony as much as he loved her and he should have found a woman who really appreciated him. Maybe that changed in the past 18 months, though. I just hope they don't kill Tony.

I cannot express how much I dislike President Logan. We knew he was a jack a$$ last season, but he's really taking it to new heights this year. And we're only 2 hours in.

I'm so glad to have my weekly Kiefer fix back!!

President Logan is such an idiot! I love Jack!!!! I was sorry to see president Palmer and Michelle go. I hope Tony will be ok and help Jack somehow. I also hope the Derrick is going to be ok. He seems like a good kid who just wanted to protect his mother and Jack too for that matter!
Does anyone else think Chloe's boyfriend is shady and in on something with the bad guys? He just doesn't seem right to me. I can't wait for tonight's episode.

I was thinking this same thing! They always do the 'mole' or double agent thing, and I had pegged that guy - I didn't see the presidential advisor one coming though! Usually we have to wait til closer to the end or some pivotal moment.

Also - I loves me some Tony Almeida! I hope they don't kill him off...[he's no Kiefer though ]

Any one out there want to give me a recap of Sunday night's premiere? DH was in charge of setting the VCR, well he set it to WB because they were running a 24 rerun. We just found out tonight when we went to pop it in.

I'm totally loving the show!!!

What's funny to me is a bunch of non-violent, peace-lovin' MDC moms cheering on Jack Bauer who isn't always, um, gentle.

OK, my DH loves to read the Sports Guy column (he loves bad 80s movies, reality TV...) anyway his column is * very * entertaining. He loves 24. Here is his recent entry:

Quote:
"(As it turned out, it wasn't even the most shocking moment of the day -- not when the "24" brain trust decided to kill off President David Palmer. How can you kill off the greatest fake president ever? Who would do such a thing? That was the most traumatic Hollywood death since Curtis Jackson was gunned down at the liquor store during the second season of the "White Shadow." Heck, I was planning on voting for Palmer two years from now -- instead, I have to vote for Kevin Kline. Plus, every time I see an Allstate commercial, I'm going to expect Dennis Haysbert to get gunned down right in the middle of a busy intersection. What an outrage. Can't they bring him back for Season Six under the old "Um, he never really died, he was just in a coma, and now he's fine!" angle?)"

My DH sent me this link:

"Every true 24 fans needs... the Jack-Tracker!"

http://www.wayfaring.com/maps/show/4698

and Bill Simmon's (i.e. Sports Guy) mailbag talks about 24 again (you have to scroll down). DH shared it with me b/c it was very funny.
