Last night's was the best Office so far this season. I loved it! not looking forward to the new love triangle, though.

Oh, and the whole sidebar that Ryan FINALLY had an excuse to dump Kelly, and then Kelly crying to the camera with mascara running down her face, and then her total joy (and Ryan's utter disappointment) that the office would not be closing, after all.

It's too bad Kelly is so pushy and clingy - she's really beautiful and bubbly, but that aspect of her personality is completely overshadowed by the annoying stuff.

I'm loving the "new" Roy - morose guy! Not so much the cocky idiot anymore.

Another great episode. Not too sure about Karen going to Scranton though. Grrrrrrr....

What I think will happen. In a nutshell: Jim may start hanging with Karen a bit but it won't last, she'll go back to CT and Jim and Pam will finally be together. Maybe?

No chance of her going back to CT, since the Stamford branch is closing. She could go to NYC, though.

Ya. That's what I mean't. NYC to work.

I'm kinda glad the Stamford branch closed. Now Jim and Pam will be back working together. How long could they have kept that going yk? Jim working at Stamford.

I was at a clothes trading swap fundraiser for the local midwifery school last night and missed all but the last couple minutes. What happened?
Is there a place online you can catch the episode?

Not as many funnies in this one for me, personally. Compared to the UK version's parallel episode (when David Brent gets made redundant), it just didn't work as well for me. When Brent got canned, I actually teared up. In contrast, I laughed at Michael's crying. It was just so over the top.

That said, though, any Office episode is still fun to watch. Stuff I liked...

Michael saying to Toby, "You walk so slowly." after calling him into his office. I love the animosity between them!

Michael and Dwight reminiscing, and Dwight saying so earnestly, "When you took me to the hospital and told me you cared about me." Michael's expression of discomfort and disgust made me cringe and laugh.

What the hell was Creed doing...selling off his computer? Crafty bugger.

you can pay $2 and buy it from itunes - imo, worth it just for that first scene with the fax.

I'm bummed that I missed the fax scene. I was in the kitchen fixing my son's dinner, so I could hear what was being said, but couldn't see.

The fax scene was definetely the best with Dwight knocking the coffee away afterwards "You'll thank me later"
I wonder if Karen will feel like a third wheel in Scranton and have to leave eventually.

Can't believe that Dwight had the address of the CEO of Dunder Mifflin in his phone.
Poor Stanley was ready to retire. Creed was going to buy everyone shots after work. I also felt bad that Toby was not going to grt to go to Costa Rico to surf but glad that he will still be there to piss Michael off.

Next week is a longer episode...

Michelle, vegan mama to my two sweeties, L, 4/21/04 and C, 10/29/06 married to my Bryce for 20 years.

I can die and go to heaven now...a thread dedicated to my favorite show. It's so nice to unite with other Office fans. I don't know about anyone else, but I definitely have a crush on Jim.

Oh, and my favorite quote from Thursday was:
"Dwight, this is future Dwight..."

I can't imagine how the show could ever out do itself, but it gets better and better.

THis episode was actually hilarious. After the fax scene, I restarted the program. I had to watch it again.

I was laughing very hard and that's a good thing, b/c the previous episode was a drag, IMO.

I'm not looking forward to the love triangle thing, either. Just put Jim and Pam together and get it over with! I know why show writers do this crap but it actually makes me stop watching for a while.

Okay...the merger happens tonight, folks!

It's pitiful that I'm actually excited about this. I need more private male attention, I think.

Well, I am an 'Office' 'ho because I could be into several of the men on that show, Jim (of course) : , Dwight : , Ryan is growing on me now that he has actually smiled a few times, and I have always loved Steve Carrell --yes, even in this role.

This show has become an obsession for me.

So..what did everyone think?
There were some very funny moments (Lazy Scranton) but I wanted more...
I was just so bummed about Jim's coldness towards Pam. She seemed so hurt at the end of the night. I'm sure it's the writers ploy to keep us watching, but I just don't like it.....

Yeah, not that funny. I laughed during the Staples commercial, though, when I realized that it was the same shredder. And then later with the salad (that he got at Staples).

Of course, there was the pumping mom. Just the fact that they introduced that made me kind of laugh.

what's her name telling Jim about Shiloh and Suri, and he asks "so what's new with you?" and she's all puzzled, like, "I just told you."

Yeah the pumping mom thing was interesting. I liked how it wasn't actually the topic of the scene as much as just a part of it. Like a normal matter of course (in which much of the office staff act like idiots of course).

The Jim and Pam scene at the end was so heartbreaking. And it was in the same place, the office parking lot at night, where Jim had told her he was in love with her. They portrayed everything so realistically though.

Other great moments:

-Andy and Dwight's endless handshake. I was dying! And their little insult match at the end!!
-And just the whole awkwardness between the two groups was so incomfortably good.

"You've always got to stay one step ahead, like a carpenter...building stairs."

"This isn't even a stopwatch, it's a digital thermometer."

I was bummed too about the distance between Jim and Pam. She was so excited about him coming back, and it just didn't go the way she hoped. But it was realistic - you can't reject someone like that and expect everything to just go on like always. And Jim is actually *seeing* Stamford girl?? Grr.

I think the thing that bummed me out the most was how he didn't go out for coffee w/Pam but he agreed to meet Stamford Girl for a drink. (Sorry, I can't remember her name.) I guess if he's seeing her that makes sense, he'd be kind of a jerk to blow her off and go out w/Pam. But still.

I need to get a life - I have way too much invested in this fictional relationship!

I just can't stand how they are doing the Jim & Pam stuff...it's so expected...it's what all shows do. I wanted this show to do it in their own unique ways. They could actually have a couple who are funny...

But other than that I love this show.
