You're all forgetting the most awesome part of Kayne's outfit....

Didn't Jay win the BR dress that was inspired by the Empire State building?

The best part of the episode was Michael trying to show Kayne how to do a runway walk. Not to stereotype, but I've never seen a gay man so tense and tight in his walk - I could not stop laughing! Then I felt bad I was laughing, and that made me laugh even harder.

: I'm glad you mentioned their walks. I'm no Vincent fan, but he was cute on the runway. Uli looked militant - she trudged up and down. Laura was worried about her baby bump - you could tell, and it looks like she really shows it off next week. I can't even believe how much I love this show.

No- Wendy won that one with the black dress w/ the capelet-whatever-thingy. I thought I remembered Jay saying in the final episode of PR1 that he didn't win one but managed to make it to the final 3. Maybe I'm way off though...

As for the Kayne belt- I noticed it back in a previous episode and LOVED it- it's just sparkly and Kayne-ish. It makes me smile.

dear sweet Kayne, I love you, we all love you, but ... but ... oh, my! it was like Elvis and Evel Kneivel collided at the rodeo; ouch!

love love loved Michael's white outfit

Jeffrey, what was the point with the crotch detailing? hoping to be hit by a lightning bolt? and I thought his jacket looked 2 sizes too small

Angela, well ... it's all been said

are they designing in Paris next week?

Okay, and what's with Jeffrey & the jacket? He bragged about making one in the first challenge, he made one this challenge, but he refused to make one for Angela's mom because he didn't think he could get it done well in time? Whatevah!

I think that making a jacket in his own size, for his own body type for which he is very familiar working with would be a lot easier than making a jacket the size of a tent. :

Mmmm.. maybe. But I've always heard that making clothes for yourself is tough because it's hard to measure yourself.
I think Jeff is a butt.

It against the U.A. to use the language I would need to describe what I think of Jeff, but I still think it much easier to make a jacket for himself than a short 350lb woman.

He is not only super skinny and much, much smaller than Angela's mom (and therefore his jacket would take less time to sew ) but he has probably made jackets for himself so often he could do it blind. Jeffrey reminds me of the other LA rock star types I used to know when I still lived down there. They all thought they are god's gift to the rest of us and took the rock star attitude and look to the extreme.

Did it say she weighed that much? It certainly didn't seem like it to me.

Can I join this thread? This is the only show I watch (except for The Sopranos, when a new season is on).

I can not stand Jeffrey. He is so rude and mean-spirited! I will just barf if he makes it to the final 3.

I saw every episode of Project Jay - I think there were 3 before they took it off the air. In the last episode he was supposed to make a dress for Heidi for the Emmy's and he did and she tried it on and said it was cheap and wanted changes made so he busted his ass and found this special dress maker guy and the two of them made it GORGEOUS! It was a very nice dress! AFTER they have busted their humps to get this dress done for Heidi Jay gets a phone call from her rep or assistant saying that she is going with a different dress/designer. Jay didn't hide his disappointment and frustration though I thought he handled it quite well. My theory is that Heidi saw that show and was mad at Jay for making her look like a bitch (not a difficult task given the situation) and had the show taken off the air.

Of course it could just be that it wasn't getting the viewers but it seemed weird that after that one Heidi episode the show just disappeared.

After watching the first episode, how Jeffrey acted toward Angela's mother makes me even more mad. PPs mentioned about how he may not have had time to make her a jacket. He said in the first episode how he started out in the business making jackets & he's made them for a few of the other challenges, so I really think he was being a total asshat.

I just saw Tim Gunn. Parsons School of Design is located across the street from my job. All my coworkers see him once in the while in Cafe Metro near by and I stood in line for a salad right behind him. He looks just like on TV - tall and serious.

ah! that recap pinpointed why Michael's outfit bugged me. It seemed kind of 80s to me, like that Michael Jackson jacket with all the zippers?

I really can't take credit for it though - DH does all the videos. He does one every year for the kids' birthdays, and one every month or so. He edits all the video we take and breaks it down by month and puts it on DVDs. I love it! I'll tell him you liked it - he'll be so pleased!
