We just got done watching and I told dh, "That was a GREAT episode."

Glad to know I'm not the only one who bombed the quiz.

Can I just say that - I LOVE Dr. Bailey! She's totally awesome.

I'm getting tired of Izzy's "I'm ok" bit though. They need to move on, which it looks like they will next episode.

Um. Addison laying in bed with Mark? Ok...........

Meredith's face when Derek acted like he could give a rats as$ about her breaking up with Fin. HA! That was close to priceless.

90% WooHoo!!!

Last night was good. I felt so bad for Izzy when Burke was saying he is not fine because he got shot from her lying. I so thought George was going to see McSteamy in Callie's room but nope he's with Addison again. And how many houses do the McDreamies have? Geez...

Okay, so I don't watch this show but I just heard on the radio today that I guess Patrick Dempsey and wife are expecting twins (maybe more? --I only heard the word "babies"). Anyway, they were talking about how she is getting, like, weekly sonograms or something, and he's posting the pics in his trailer. Anyway, they were ragging on that, which I mean they kind of have a point there--it is a little excessive.

But then the woman on the radio says the couple is talking about a homebirth with a midwife. But then she goes on to say that "just because you can talk the talk on the show doesn't make you an expert on birth and that the couple should be leaving it to the experts (implying doctors).

And of course, it's also kind of an odd combo of sonogram overuse combined with wanting to have a homebirth.

So are they really crunchy or just jumping on the trend? Of course whatever their motivation is I am glad they are considering it.

Just thought you all might be interested in this news. Or maybe you know more and this is old news?

Same here--I'm 155 and an 8, and I'm 5'8". I told my DH that I bet she and I were the same size. That's why I about killed him this morning when he referred to her as "Tons O'Fun." That totally made me angry--not for my own sake, but for the fact that that attitude is just not acceptable.

She is annoying me.

So strange - I am 5-9 and weighed 150 pre-pregnancy, and definitely could NOT have worn an 8. I like my clothes loose, but size 8 jeans, for example, would simply NOT have buttoned on me.

This is horrible, but that would have been true for me pre-pregnancy. I weighed 151 then, but I was in AWESOME shape. Now that I don't have time to exercise, I weigh 155 and fit in a size smaller jeans. Muscle loss, I am afraid. :-)

Rumor has it Greys have already started interviewing new Burke's. Front runner is Erique LaSalle, he used to be on ER. They said one person does not make the show and everyone is replaceable.

I already have an idea to do the switch see Burke as Isaih Washington could get into some wreck or have an accident that would destroy his face and voice and McSteamy the plastic surgeon does reconstructive surgery only he ends up looking like Erique LaSalle See I could SO be a writer...

I am embarrassed. I only got 50% correct. Here is my posting id. :

I think Erique LaSalle would be a great addition but as a new doc not as Burke. I thought I was the only one who remembered him as Daryl.

I suppose they could just do the Bewitched Darren switch and hope no one notices.

Isaiah Washington's tenure in the hospital may be over!

Producers of ABC's #1 show, Grey's Anatomy, are looking to replace the fictional doctor, reports In Touch Weekly.

The cast and crew of the show have been in an uproar after the actor violently threatened co-star Patric "Dr. McDreamy" Dempsey and made homophobic slurs against gay castmate T.R. Knight last week.

Since the incident, In Touch reports that Grey's Anatomy execs have met with three possible replacements: Fast Lane's Bill Bellamy, Soul Food star Boris Kodjoe and former E.R. star Eriq LaSalle.

"Grey's Anatomy is bigger than just one actor," an insider tells the magazine. "It's about the ensemble and Isaiah threatens that chemistry."

The National Enquirer, who broke the brawl story last week, backs up In Touch's reporting.

"The melee has set off World War III on the show and may cost Isaiah his job," an insider tells The Enquirer. "The cast is divided over the shameful event."

Fire him!!

Washington has not even properly apologized for grabbing Dempsey by the throat and pushing him during the on-set fight he instigated. And, he has yet to address his homophobic remarks.

Eric LaSalle would be an excellent replacement!!

Did anyone else just die laughing watching the couple become unhinged??? Can a piercing really get stuck on an IUD? IUD is in the uterus not the vagina & I do not want a penis in my uterus. OWIE!!!!!!!

Addison said the IUD dislodged from the woman's uterus and got stuck in the vaginal wall, where the piercing got stuck on it.

OUCH!

I love the part of Izzy talking to Addison about being rich, though the 'rich sounding name' comment was weird - when she said I can't talk to my friends about this they are all poor - George responds "ah, standing right here"

I thought the piercing scene was great -

Burke is making me sick. "I'm ******* Burke, the leading cariothorasic surgeon, blah, blah, blah"- and you can't speak up when you have to - knock it off already.

Mer got what she had coming in the elevator - though I love the hot steamy chemistry between the two of them -

Christina said it best in next weeks preview "it is not all about Meredith"

I thought the reason that Derek didn't react to Mer's annoucement was that he was still reeling from learning about Addison living with Mark for months. He didn't react because he couldn't - couldn't process everything, didn't have room for more input.

He'll think about it later and kick himself that he didn't do something... something compassionate. (At least I hope he will - 'cause what he did was awfully unfeeling.)

Gee, that Mark is a sleeze! He may be hot, but the amount of bed-hopping he's done lately is a real turn-off for me.

Ann-Marita. I deleted my usual signature due to, oh, wait, if I say why, that might give too much away.

Hi all, new to the thread, but not to Greys.

Ann-Marita, I agree with your last post.

The mother with breast cancer hit too close to home for me. My dear sister in law found out she had breast cancer a few days before her 3rd child was born. She wasn't able to breast feed her last son (but did her 1st 2 children.) The thought of the baby not wanting a bottle was heartbreaking. I really felt for the family. I think Miranda did a great job, (eventually) I like to see them developing her more (especially her personal side and how it ties in to her professional side.)

I too was very happy it wasn't all about Mer this time.
